Transfer an entity to another subscription

Benefits

This feature is especially helpful for Enterprise subscriptions that include multiple Entity subscriptions. It allows Organization owners and admins to manage entities more accurately across subscriptions—without needing to delete or recreate them.

By transferring entities, you keep all configuration details intact, including settings like custom attributes and direct competitors. It’s a quick and flexible way to clean up or restructure how your entities are organized within your subscription landscape.

How it works

You can transfer an entity from one Entity Subscription to another within the same Organization. This is helpful when:

• A new subscription has been purchased, and an entity needs to be moved over.

• You want to group entities under a specific subscription for clearer organization.

• An entity was created under the wrong subscription but has the correct setup.

Note: Entities can only be transferred between Entity Subscriptions. Transfers to Enterprise Subscriptions are not allowed.

Steps to transfer an entity

1. Go to the Subscriptions page → Entities tab.

2. Find the entity you want to move in the list.

3. Click the 3-dot menu on the right side of the entity row.

4. Select Transfer to subscription.

In the transfer modal

After selecting Transfer to subscription, a modal opens showing:

• The current subscription details.

• A dropdown selector listing other available Entity Subscriptions in your Organization.

  • The current subscription is excluded from the list.

  • Each subscription includes key information to help you identify the right one (such as plan and number of entities).

  • If a subscription has no available capacity for additional entities, it will appear greyed out and can’t be selected.

Confirm the transfer

1. Choose the target subscription from the dropdown.

2. Review the subscription details shown.

3. Click Transfer to complete the process.

Once confirmed:

• A success message appears.

• The entity is removed from the original subscription.

• Users assigned to the previous subscription will no longer have access to that entity.

• The Entities table refreshes automatically.

Only one entity can be transferred at a time. Transfers are only allowed between Entity Subscriptions—you can’t move an entity into an Enterprise Subscription.
