Benefits of the feature
This feature empowers CXP customers to configure their organization independently. By adding or removing entities directly from the UI, organization owners and enterprise admins with the "all" scope gain increased flexibility and control, making organizational management faster and simpler.
Steps to add entities
From the Entities section in the navigation menu
- Navigate to the Entities section in the side menu.
- Click on Add entity (located in the top right corner or the center if no entities are present).
- Enter the full or partial name of the entity in the search bar.
- Select the desired entity. It will appear in the list on the right.
- Click Add entity in the bottom right corner.
- Done! The entity will appear in the table under your Entities tab.
Note: It may take up to 60 minutes for the Dashboard tabs to populate with your entity's data.
From the Subscription section in the navigation menu (CXP - Enterprise subscription only)
- Navigate to the Subscription section in the side menu.
- Select the entity subscription to which you want to add the entity.
- Click on the Entity tab.
- Follow steps 2–6 from the Entities section instructions above.
Suggest adding a missing entity to the database
If you can’t find your entity in the search results, and it is not used in your organization, you can request to be added directly to our database:
-
Click Missing entity (located in the upper-right corner of the Add entity by search window).
-
Complete the Request to add entity form with the following details:
-
Entity name
-
Country, ZIP / Postal code, State / Province, City, and Address
-
Entity link (website)
-
Source link (e.g., Booking, Google, TripAdvisor)
-
-
Click Submit — our team will review and add the entity to the database shortly.
Tip: The more complete and accurate the details you provide, the faster we can process your request.
Important notes
User assignment timing
If users are invited before the entity is added, they will need to be manually assigned to the newly added entity. To avoid this, follow this order:
-
- Create the entity.
- Invite users.
Replacing entities in subscriptions
If an entity is removed and replaced within a subscription, users will not automatically transfer to the new entity. They will need to be added manually.
Single-entity subscriptions
When inviting a new user to a subscription with only one entity, the system will automatically assign the user to that entity.
Entity uniqueness within organizations
The same entity cannot be added to multiple subscriptions within the same organization.
