Benefits of this feature
Previously, goals could only be created and managed from the Settings page. With the new Goals drawer on the Entity page, managing goals becomes more intuitive. This feature allows you to:
- Easily create, edit, and delete goals directly from the Entity page.
- Quickly view assigned goals in a structured table.
- Enhance usability by keeping goal-related actions for the entity users.
How to access and use the Goals on the entity page
1. Open the Goals drawer
- Navigate to an Entity page.
- Click on the Goals tab to open the Goals drawer.
- A table will display all goals assigned to that entity, including:
- Goal name
- Goal type (Organization or Custom)
- KPI & KPI details
- Target value
- Timeframe
- Source
- Created by & Last updated by
- Last update date
What happens if no goals exist?
- If no goals are assigned to the entity, a “No goal yet” message is displayed.
- If you have permission to create goals, a “New Goal” button appears.
- If you do not have permission, the button is hidden.
How to create a Goal from the Entity page
1. Click the “New goal” button
- If you have the required permissions, click New goal in the Goals drawer.
2. Fill in goal details
- Name: Enter a unique goal name (max 100 characters).
- Goal type: Auto-assigned to Custom.
- Timeframe: Select a start and end date.
- Source: Choose a review source, TrustYou Survey, or select "All".
- KPI: Select from available KPIs:
- Performance Score (RPS)
- TrustYou Score
- Review Count
- Response Rate (includes detailed breakdowns)
- Sentiment Score (category-specific options)
- Target value: Define the numerical target for the entity.
Format considerations for target values
To ensure the goal is processed correctly, follow these formatting rules for target values:
- Performance Score (RPS): 0.00 – 100.00 (positive decimal number with two decimal places, using a dot (.) as the decimal separator, e.g., 85.75).
- Review Count: 0 – ∞ (integer without thousands separator, e.g., 25000, not 25,000).
- Response Rate: 0.00 – 100.00 (positive decimal number with two decimal places, using a dot (.) as the decimal separator, e.g., 99.10).
- Sentiment Score: 0.00 – 100.00 (positive decimal number with two decimal places, using a dot (.) as the decimal separator, e.g., 72.60).
3. Save the goal
- Click Save to finalize the goal.
- Please keep in mind that it might take up to 24 hours for the changes to reflect on the Dashboard.
How to edit an existing goal
1. Find the goal you want to edit
- Open the Goals drawer on the Entity page.
- Locate the goal in the table.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the goal and select Edit.
2. Modify the goal details
- The following fields can be edited:
- Name
- Target value
3. Save changes
- Click Save to update the goal.
- Please keep in mind that it might take up to 24 hours for the changes to reflect on the Dashboard.
How to delete a goal
1. Find the goal you want to delete
- Open the Goals drawer on the Entity page.
- Locate the goal in the table.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the goal and select Delete.
2. Confirm the Deletion
- A confirmation message appears before deletion.
- Click Delete to confirm.
Permissions and access control
Who can manage goals?

Org admins (Enterprise admins with the scope ALL) & Org owner can:
- Create, edit, and delete all goals.

Enterprise admins (Limited scope) can:
- Create custom goals only for entities within their scope.
- Edit and delete their own custom goals and custom goals created on the Entity page.
- Entity managers & Entity owners can:
- Create custom goals only for their own entity.
- Edit and delete custom entity goals.

Editors & Read-only users can:
- View goals but cannot create, edit, or delete them.
What happens if a user does not have editing permissions?
- The three-dot menu (Edit/Delete options) is hidden.
- Users can view the goals assigned to the entity but cannot make any changes.
Key Definitions
- Organization goal: A goal created by organization admins (admins with ALL scope) or owner.
- Custom goal: A goal created by any admin or owner. They can be created in two different ways.
- In the Goals drawer on the Entity page by any entity admin or owner.
- Created by an enterprise admin or owner (with access to the entity) via the Settings page.
