Here’s what’s new in our latest release! This month, we’ve introduced major improvements to API connections, Benchmark usability, and platform navigation, along with a new way for you to suggest enhancements to our semantic analysis.
Summary
- Booking.com and Google API connections now available at the entity level, allowing configuration per entity instead of only at the Review provider at the organization level.
- Benchmark UI improvements with better guidance, clearer alerts, and enhanced usability.
- General platform UI updates, including confirmation messages, search enhancements, and improved error clarity.
- A new "Suggest a semantic improvement" feature, allowing direct feedback for better semantic analysis.
Booking.com and Google API connection now available at the entity level
Until now, API connections for Google and Booking.com could only be configured at the Review provider level, applying to all entities at once. Now, you can configure the API connection for each individual entity, giving you more control and flexibility.
What’s new:
- Entity-level API configuration: Set up Google and Booking.com API connections separately for each entity, rather than applying the same settings across all entities.
- More flexibility: Entities can now be connected or disconnected without affecting others in the organization, allowing for more precise management.
- Easier setup: API configuration can now be accessed directly from each entity’s settings, streamlining the process and making adjustments quicker.
This improvement ensures that each entity’s connection is managed independently, preventing unnecessary disruptions and making it easier to tailor integrations to your specific needs.
Benchmark UI improvements
We’ve made several updates to the Benchmark UI to make it more intuitive and user-friendly:
What’s new:
- Guided search placeholders: Placeholders now guide you on how to search for values when selecting attributes like brand and cities for competitor Benchmark rules, reducing guesswork.
- Extra space for benchmark value searches: Improved spacing in the rule search fields makes it easier to select Benchmark categories.
- No entities alert: If no entities are included in a Benchmark, the overview now displays an alert explaining the possible cause for not having them, ensuring your Benchmarks are actionable.
- Mandatory Benchmark set: Creating a Benchmark now requires a defined Benchmark set, providing consistency and preventing incomplete setups.
- No Benchmark page: When no Benchmarks are available, a new "No Benchmark" page will display in the Dashboard with a clear call-to-action to create one, simplifying the setup process.
These improvements ensure you have all the tools and guidance needed to create, manage, and analyze your Benchmarks effectively.
General platform UI improvements
We’ve made several updates to the platform interface to improve usability and provide clearer feedback:
What’s new:
- Confirmation message for Segment changes: When adding or removing a Segment from the Dashboard, you’ll now see a confirmation message to validate your action.
- Subscriptions search: The Subscriptions page now includes a search bar, making it faster to locate and manage Subscriptions.
- Fixed table headers and scrollbars: Table headers now stay visible as you scroll, and scrollbars provide smoother navigation for larger datasets.
- Connection error: If there’s an issue with a connected account with Booking or Google, an error message will display directly in the connected account settings, offering better understanding and guidance to resolve the issue.
These updates are designed to simplify platform navigation, reduce errors, and ensure a smoother user experience.
Suggest a semantic improvement
We’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to directly suggest enhancements to our semantic analysis.
How it works:
- A new "Suggest a semantic improvement" button has been added to the review details view.
- Clicking the button opens a dedicated page where you can share specific suggestions with our team on how to improve the semantic analysis.
This feature gives you a direct voice in refining our semantic engine, helping us ensure more accurate insights tailored to your needs.
We’re excited for you to explore these updates and enhancements! As always, your feedback helps us continue improving. Let us know what you think—we’d love to hear from you!
