Benefits of the direct connection feature
The Direct connection integration enhances efficiency by allowing you to respond to reviews directly from your CXP Inbox without needing to navigate to the review provider's platform. This feature ensures seamless communication and saves time for your team by eliminating extra steps. It also ensures access to more accurate and reliable reviews shared directly by the providers.

- Booking.com
Description of the direct connection feature
With Direct connection, any user in your subscription with the appropriate permissions can directly respond to new reviews coming in after the integration is set up. Previous reviews will need to be responded to via the original provider's platform. If your credentials for a review site change, the integration will need to be reconfigured.
Setting up Google integration
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Under Review Providers, click the Connect button next to the Google logo.
- Log into the Google My Business account you use to manage your entity's reviews.
- Select at least one location to set up the integration.
- Click Activate to complete the setup.
Setting up Booking.com integration
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Under Review providers, click the Connect button next to the Booking.com logo.
- Log into the Booking.com account you use to manage your reviews.
- Confirm the entity connected to your CXP subscription.
- Click Activate to finalize the integration.
Managing integrations
You can disconnect the Direct connection integration with any review provider at any time. If disconnected, reviews will revert to being collected via web crawling, and responding directly through the CXP Inbox will no longer be possible until the integration is re-established.
Once an integration is activated, other users with access to the same entity will automatically be able to use the Direct connection feature without repeating the setup steps.
