The ability to upload guest data is a key function within the CXP platform, allowing users to link visit data with specific Surveys. This process is managed through the Entities section under the Organization menu. By associating guest visit data with a Survey configured for email distribution, users can ensure timely and personalized feedback requests.
Follow these steps to upload guest data:
1. Navigate to the Entities Section
Go to the Organization menu and select Entities.
2. Choose the Relevant Entity
From the list of Entities, select the one where you want to upload the data.
3. Open the Distribution Tab
Click on the Distribution tab within the selected Entity.
4. Select "Visit Data Uploads"
In the dropdown menu, choose the Visit Data Uploads option.
5. Select the Target Survey
Choose the Survey you want to link the visit data to.
Note: Only Surveys configured with email distribution will appear in this list.
If your Survey is not displayed, please contact service@trustyou.com for support with email distribution setup.
6. Upload the File
Upload your guest data file. Ensure that your file meets the formatting requirements outlined in the upload guide.
Tip: Proper formatting ensures your data is processed correctly and avoids upload errors.
7. Review Upload Results
After uploading, check the Last Upload table to see the status and any potential errors.
8. Track Distribution Status
Use the Visit Status section to monitor the progress and success of your Survey distribution.
