Integrity Status tells you how trustworthy a survey review is. Each survey review is automatically assessed and assigned a label so you can spot suspicious activity, filter your Inbox, and take action on reviews that may not reflect genuine guest feedback.
- Identify which survey reviews show signs of manipulation, at a glance
- Filter your Inbox by Integrity Status to focus on what matters most
- See integrity information in review exports for analysis outside the platform
- Take action on suspicious reviews directly from the Inbox
- Trust that your scores reflect real guest experiences
What the Labels Mean
Every survey review gets one of four Integrity Status labels. Here's what each one means and what you should do.
- Authentic: No significant suspicious signals were detected. The review looks like genuine guest feedback. No action needed.
- Inconclusive: Some signals were present, but not strong enough to call the review suspicious. You don't need to take action, but you can keep an eye on patterns over time.
- Suspicious: Multiple suspicious signals were triggered. These reviews may not reflect real guests. See the section below on what to do.
- Pending: The review was submitted recently and the scoring window hasn't closed yet. Once the window closes, the label updates automatically and won't change again.
Note: Integrity Status only applies to survey reviews. Online reviews show - in the Integrity Status field.
How to See Integrity Status in the Inbox
The Integrity Status column is available in the Inbox but hidden by default. To enable it:
- Open the Inbox.
- Click the column picker (the column settings icon at the top right of the data grid).
- Select Integrity to add it to your view.
You can also filter by Integrity Status to see only the reviews you care about:
- Open the Integrity Status filter in the Inbox filter bar.
- Select one or more labels: Authentic, Inconclusive, Suspicious, or Pending.
- The Inbox updates to show only reviews with the selected status.
Note: If you filter by a label and see no results, it means there are no survey reviews matching that label in the selected time period. This is expected behavior, not an error.
How to See Integrity Status on a Single Review
- Open a review from the Inbox.
- In the review detail view, find the metadata section (alongside Published date, Source, and Entity).
- The Integrity Status label appears there. Hover over it to see a tooltip with a link to this article.
What to Do with Suspicious Reviews
If a review is labeled Suspicious, you can flag it using the existing Mark as Inappropriate feature.
- Open the review from the Inbox.
- Click the Mark as Inappropriate option in the review actions menu.
- The review is flagged for review.
Integrity Status in Exports
When you export data from the Inbox, Integrity Status is included as a field in the export file. This lets you analyze integrity patterns in spreadsheet tools or share the data with your team outside the platform.
