What are goals?
A Goal is a collection of targets with one or more entities, for a specific KPI within a defined timeframe.
- Open Goals: Open goals are those with an end date later than the current date.
- Closed Goals: A goal with an end date in the past.
What are targets?
A Target is the objective value for a specific entity assigned to a goal. Each entity has one of four possible target statuses:
On Target: The current KPI value is above the assigned target while the goal is still open.
Below Target: The current KPI value is below the assigned target while the goal is still open.
Achieved: The final KPI value exceeded the target when the goal ended.
-
Not Achieved: The final KPI value fell short of the target at the goal’s end date.
What does "Not calculated" means?
A goal may display as "Not calculated" in the dashboard when there is no data available to evaluate it for the selected period.
This occurs when a goal is configured with a score-range filter (for example, a Response Rate goal tracking reviews with ratings ≤ 40) and no reviews matching that range were received during the reporting period. Because there is nothing to measure, the system cannot produce a meaningful result — the goal remains visible but is marked as not calculated.
This does not mean the goal is misconfigured. It simply means the condition it tracks did not occur during the selected timeframe.
How "Not calculated" goals affect your dashboard:
- They are visible in charts
- They are excluded from % on target and % below target calculations
-
They are excluded from the total target count used in those metrics
Open Goals
This metric displays the total number of goals whose end date is later than the current date, along with the targets within the goal set for those goals. It provides a quick snapshot of how many objectives are currently in progress.
Target progress by KPI (only multi entity users)
This chart illustrates progress for each KPI, highlighting achieved vs. missed targets across all goals and entities. You can immediately assess which KPIs are on track and which need more attention.

Progress by goals and segments (only multi entity users)
This table is ideal for more granular level performance tracking. The default segment is brand, but you can select any other segment via the dropdown.
This table helps you see each goal first and then review how different segments(brand) are progressing toward it.
Progress by segments and goals (only multi entity users)
This table offers a flipped view of the previous table starting from the brand segment.
This table helps you review the active goals for each selected segment.
Target progress summary (only single entity users)
Displays a pie chart summarizing the current status of all targets. This high-level view offers a quick understanding of overall target achievement.
Target progress by KPI (only single entity users)

What are Closed Goals?
A goal with an end date in the past. Once the goal is closed, closing values are no longer updated.
