Mistakes happen, and sometimes users need to update a response they’ve already submitted. With the "Respond again" option, users can easily send a new response to a TrustYou Survey without hassle. This ensures that public survey replies stay accurate and email responses can be updated when necessary.
How It Works
Users can now resend a response to a TrustYou Survey that has already been answered.
Steps to Send a New Response
- Click on a previously responded TrustYou Survey.
- The "Respond again" button will appear below the response.
- Clicking the button will open the response options:
- ResponseAI
- Respond with Templates
- Blank Response (selected by default)
- The Blank Response tab will be pre-populated with the previous response.
- If the user switches to the Templates or ResponseAI tab, a discard pop-up will appear.
- When the new response is submitted:
- Public Reply: The new response will override the previous one.
- Email Reply: A new email response will be sent instead of replacing the old one.
Metadata Updates
- "Marked as responded" and "Response confirmed" timestamps will only reflect the latest response.
- "Responded by" will also update to show the user who provided the last response.
With this update, you will have greater flexibility in managing your survey responses while keeping communication clear and up-to-date.
