Segments are categories used to organize entities and reviews in CXP, allowing for better data segmentation and analysis. There are segments related to entity attributes and segments related to review attributes.
Entity-based segments
Entity (multi-entity only)
Available in all dashboards, this segment allows data to be segmented by each individual entity within your organization.
Brand (multi-entity only)
Available in all dashboards, this segment allows data to be segmented by the different brands in your organization.
Country (multi-entity only)
Available in all dashboards, this segment allows data to be segmented by the countries where your organization’s entities are located.
City (multi-entity only)
Available in all dashboards, this segment allows data to be segmented by the cities where your organization’s entities are located.
Custom segments (multi-entity only)
Available in all dashboards if selected in the organization configuration, this segment allows data to be segmented by specific attributes of the entities within your organization. These attributes are defined by you during the configuration of your organization.
Review-based segments
In addition to the segments configured in the organization related to the entity's attributes, there are other default segments related to review attributes available in the different dashboards.
Source
Available in all dashboards, this segment allows data to be visualized based on the review provider where the reviews where originated.
Category
Available in the Sentiment dashboards, this segment allows you to visualize data grouped by the categories that organize subcategories assigned to reviews.
Subcategory
Available in the Sentiment dashboards, this segment allows you to visualize data based on the subcategories assigned to reviews.
Language (single-entity only) - Coming soon
Available in the Reviews dashboard, this segment will allow filtering data by the language of the reviews.
Review Score (single-entity only) - Coming soon
Available in the Reviews dashboard, this segment will enable filtering data by the score of the reviews.
Department (single-entity only) - Coming soon
What's changing?
We’ve added departments as new categories in the Sentiment dashboard, allowing users to filter sentiment data by department without changing the layout or design.
New Departments in CXP:
Five core departments have been introduced for sentiment data grouping:
- Maintenance
- Housekeeping
- Food and Beverage
- Front Office
- Wellness and Spa
These departments will now be available in the existing widgets and filters, enabling users to filter sentiment scores accordingly.
