How it works
When a survey review is marked as inappropriate, account admins receive an email notification with the subject line: "Pending survey review moderation request."
The email contains all relevant information about the flagged review, including:
- Entity name
- Date
- Username
- Reason for marking the review
- Notes (if provided)
- A preview of the review
Admins can act directly from the email by clicking on the provided button: Approve or Reject.
Approve or reject the review
Clicking on the button will direct the admin to the flagged review in the system, where two options are available:
-
Approve:
- Click the Approve button to confirm that the review is inappropriate.
- The review will be permanently marked as inappropriate.
-
Reject:
- Click the Reject button to reverse the inappropriate flag.
- Provide a reason for the rejection.
- The review will be marked as appropriate again. Once rejected, the same review cannot be flagged as inappropriate again.
Notifications to the reporting user
After a decision is made:
- The user who initially marked the review as inappropriate will receive an email notification informing them of the outcome (approved or rejected).
This process ensures clarity and transparency for all involved parties, maintaining a fair and efficient review moderation system.
