The duplicate feature lets you create an exact copy of any questionnaire in Survey Manager, in seconds. Save the copy in the same survey or send it to a different one. Either way, you get a head start instead of building from scratch.
- Save time by reusing a questionnaire you already built instead of starting over
- Test a new version of a questionnaire without changing the original
- Roll out a proven questionnaire to another survey in just a few clicks
- Keep your original questionnaire safe while you experiment with the copy
How to Duplicate a Questionnaire
- Go to Survey Manager and open the survey that contains the questionnaire you want to duplicate.
- Find the questionnaire in the table and click the three-dot menu next to it.
- Select Duplicate.
- In the "Select where to save the copy" dialog, choose This survey or Another survey.
- If you choose Another survey, use the autocomplete box to search for and select the target survey.
- Click Duplicate.
What Happens After You Duplicate
- The dialog closes and a confirmation message appears at the bottom of your screen, letting you know the copy was created.
- If you saved the copy to this survey, it appears in the first row of that survey's table.
- If you saved the copy to another survey, you're redirected to that survey, where the copy appears in the first row of its table.
- The new questionnaire's internal name is the original name followed by (copy). For example, "Checkout Feedback" becomes "Checkout Feedback (copy)".
Note: The duplicated questionnaire doesn't come with any entities in its scope. Add the entities you need before you publish or send the copy.
