An email invitation template in CXP is a customizable message sent to guests to request Survey responses after their stay. It combines two key components: a Text Content Type labeled Email Invitation and a Theme. When both are selected in the questionnaire editor, your email invitation is ready to be sent.

Feature Details and Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Create the Email Invitation Content
Start by using the default text content Email Invitation or create a new text content type of the same type. This content includes:
Subject line
Introduction text
Closing text
Optional: Custom reminder text
You can personalize the message using placeholders to improve guest engagement. Here are some examples:
Dear {guest_first_name} {guest_last_name},
How was your experience at {hotel}?
Step 2: Create a Theme
Design a theme that reflects your brand’s visual identity. In this step, you can:
Choose your brand-aligned colors
Upload custom header and footer images (optional)
Step 3: Assign Content and Theme to Your Questionnaire
Open your questionnaire in the editor.
Go to the Email Invitation step and select your content from the list. Pro Tip: If your questionnaire have an overall score question, you can embeded the scale instead of showing the button.
Go to the Theme step and select your created theme.
Once both are selected, your email invitation template is complete and ready to use.
