Benefits of navigating between subscriptions
Navigating between subscriptions lets you access different organizations and entities without logging in and out repeatedly. Whether you manage a single subscription or many, you can switch seamlessly between roles and views from the hallway.
Selecting a subscription
Once logged in, choose the subscription you want to access from the hallway. The icon on each row tells you the subscription type: a multiple buildings icon means it's an enterprise subscription, a single building icon means it's an entity subscription. What the row displays depends on how many entities you have access to:
- Access to multiple entities: The row shows the subscription name and your entity count. If your access covers all entities in the subscription, it shows as "[count] entities (all)." If you have access to only specific entities, it shows as "[count] entities."
- Access to one entity: The row shows the entity name, its city, and country.
Subscription status in the hallway
Every subscription row shows your role in a chip. When a subscription has a status that requires your attention, the same chip changes color and shows an icon. Hovering over the chip shows a tooltip with details and who to contact:
- Grey chip: The subscription is active and fully accessible.
- Yellow chip with warning icon: A payment is due. You still have full access, but a warning banner will also appear inside the platform. Hover over the chip to see who to contact.
- Red chip with lock icon: The subscription is locked due to an outstanding payment. The row is grayed out and can't be entered. Hover over the chip for next steps and contact details. If this is your only subscription, you'll land on a lockout screen after signing in.
- Blue chip with clock icon: The subscription has a future start date and isn't active yet. It's visible in the hallway but can't be entered. Hover over the chip to see the start date.
- Red chip with lock icon (Suspended or Cancelled): The subscription is no longer accessible. Hover over the chip for details on who to contact.
Switching between subscriptions
At any time, you can change subscriptions by going to the avatar menu in the upper-right corner and using the subscription switcher. Select the subscription you want to move to.
Only active subscriptions can be selected. Locked, upcoming, suspended, and cancelled subscriptions are visible in the switcher but can't be entered.
Important considerations
- Enterprise subscription owners: If you own an enterprise subscription and have access to other subscriptions in the same organization, only the enterprise subscription is visible in the hallway and switcher. The enterprise subscription gives you access to all entities, so you can manage other subscriptions from there.
- Upcoming subscriptions: If your only subscription is upcoming and you sign in for the first time, you'll see a screen confirming the start date. You'll get full access automatically once the subscription goes live.
- Access restrictions: If you switch to a subscription that doesn't have access to the page you were on, you'll land on a "Permission required" screen. Click Back to home or use the side navigation to move to an accessible page.
