Overview of the Feature

SummaryAI is a new feature available in Inbox for Single entity users on the Professional plan. It allows users to generate a summarized view of Reviews by leveraging existing filters and keyword searches. This summary provides a quick and actionable overview of key trends, helping users efficiently understand customer feedback.

Note: Summaries generated in Inbox are not shared within entity. Unlike Home Page summaries, which is shared between entity.

Feature Details and Usage

How to Use SummaryAI

  • Apply Filters(optional): Use the existing filter options in Inbox to narrow down the set of Reviews.

 

  • Use Keyword Search (optional): Further refine the selection of Reviews by entering relevant keywords.

 

  • Generate Summary:
    • Click the SummaryAI button.

 

  • In the SummaryAI tab, you’ll see the number of Reviews considered for summary generation.

 

  • Click Generate Summary to proceed.

 

  • View Generated Summary:
    Once generated, the summary will include:

    • Generation Date and Time
    • Number of Reviews Considered (Note: If some Reviews lack textual content, they will be excluded from the summary.)

    The summary is divided into three sections:

    • Key Pain Points: Frequently mentioned issues or negative feedback.
    • Widely Appreciated: Commonly praised aspects across Reviews.
    • Noteworthy Mentions: Rare but relevant mentions (can be positive or negative).

    Note: Sections will appear only if relevant Reviews exist for that category.

  • Additional Options:
    • Copy Summary and Filters: Easily copy both the generated summary and the filters used.
    • Filter Toggle: View and copy the exact filters applied during summary generation.
    • Rate Summary: Use the built-in rating functionality to provide feedback on the summary’s usefulness.

 

  • Summary Constraints and Notifications:
    • Large Review Sets: It’s not recommended to generate summaries for large sets of Reviews, as the result may be less insightful. A prompt will suggest applying more filters. You may still proceed using the Generate Anyways option. In such cases, a representative subset of Reviews is used for generation.

 

 

 

  • Categories and Subcategories:
    • Ideally, select up to 3 categories or subcategories.
    • If more are selected, you'll be prompted to Adjust Filters or Generate Anyways.
    • Selecting Generate Anyways will ignore the selected categories/subcategories and still produce a summary.

 

 

  • Combined Case: If generating a summary on a large number of Reviews with more than 3 categories/subcategories selected, the same logic applies—clicking Generate Anyways will bypass both constraints.

 

 

  • History Tab:
    • Access all previously generated summaries, with the most recent listed at the top.
    • Copy summaries and their respective filters.
    • Rate past summaries.
    • Use Load More to view additional historical summaries.
