Overview of the Theme feature
Themes define the look and feel of your Surveys and email invitations. They ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across all guest interactions by allowing you to customize colors, fonts, and images.
You can create and store as many themes as needed, enabling personalization for each Entity according to brand standards.
Benefits of Themes
- Brand consistency: Reflect your Entity's identity across all Survey touchpoints.
- Efficient reusability: Create themes once and apply them across multiple questionnaires and invitations.
- Flexible customization: Tailor visual elements to meet specific brand guidelines for each Entity.
How to Create a Theme
- Navigate to the Theme tab in your Survey Manager.
- Click on the Create new theme button to open the Theme Editor.
1. Name your Theme
Add a distinctive name to easily identify the theme in your library.
2. Style Settings
In the Style tab, define the following:
Colors:
The following colors are applied to both Survey and Email invitations:
- Background: Sets the outermost background color; visible only on desktop devices.
- Foreground: Determines the background behind the main content.
- Primary Text: Used for all primary messaging and questions.
- Accent Color: Applies to links, buttons, progress bars (if pagination is enabled), and checkboxes.
The following colors are applied only to the Survey:
- Secondary Text: Used for question details, helper texts, and the Entity address.
- Heading: Applied to section titles and the Entity name.
Fonts:
- Body Text: Used for all questions and descriptive text in both Surveys and email invitations.
- Headings: Used for Entity names and section titles in Surveys only.
Available Fonts
Sans Serif – Clean and modern with no decorative ends on letters. Ideal for digital interfaces due to its simplicity and readability.

- Improve Performance: Google Fonts are fast, globally distributed via CDN, and designed for web use, reducing load times and enhancing user experience.
3. Select Images (Optional)
Choose from your image library to personalize the following elements:
- Survey Header
- Email Invitation Header
- Email Invitation Footer

4. Preview your Theme
On the right-hand side of the Theme Editor, preview how your selections look on a demo Survey and email invitation. This preview is for visual purposes only and contains placeholder content.
5. Save and Apply
When you’re satisfied with the design, click Save and Close. Your new theme will appear in the Theme Overview, ready to be applied to your Surveys and invitations.
