Survey distribution channels make it easy to collect guest feedback through multiple touchpoints. Whether through a direct link, QR code, mobile app, or Wi-Fi, you can ensure that guests have convenient access to your survey. These options help improve response rates and provide valuable insights to enhance guest satisfaction.
How to access survey distribution channels
To explore the distribution channels for a specific survey:
1. Navigate to the Survey Manager section and click on any survey:
2. Navigate to the "by entity" tab in the survey. Depending on your user scope, you'll see a list of entities you have access to:
3. Click on the "Distribution" button of an specific entity:
4. You will see customized URLs assigned to the entity, based on your survey settings:
Depending on your setup, the following distribution options are available:
Public link
You can copy and paste a public link to guide guests directly to your survey.
Use the public link for in-hotel feedback collection
You can open the survey on a tablet or computer to collect feedback from guests during their stay or at checkout.
To ensure a smooth experience, you can enable the auto-reload function, which automatically reloads the survey 15 seconds after a guest submits a response. This keeps the form ready for the next customer.
To get the auto-reload survey URL:
- Turn on the toggle to enable the auto-reload feature.
- Click Copy link.
- Your updated survey URL should end with "reload=true".
- Copy and paste the link into a browser on your tablet or computer—you're ready to go!
QR code
Display the survey QR code at your property so guests can quickly access the survey by scanning it with their mobile devices.
To download the QR code:
- Click "Download code".
- Open the downloaded QR code file—it’s ready for use!
Mobile app
If you have a mobile app and want to link your survey, you can use the mobile app link. This allows you to track how many surveys are opened and submitted from this channel.
Wi-Fi
Automatically collect guest feedback by displaying your survey after they connect to your Wi-Fi network. To integrate your survey with your Wi-Fi landing page:
1. Send the survey link to your Wi-Fi provider
When guests connect to the internet, they usually see a confirmation message or a custom landing page. To display your survey instead, copy the Wi-Fi link and ask your provider to set it as the confirmation page.
2. Confirm integration
Once your Wi-Fi provider confirms that the survey is live, test it by connecting to your guest Wi-Fi network. You should be automatically redirected to the survey page.
Note: Please refrain from submitting a test survey. If the survey appears after connecting, everything is working correctly.
