The concept of Departments in CXP will provide users with the ability to group sentiment score data by departmental categories, similar to the feature previously available in the Classic platform.
What's Changing?
Previously, the "Departments" feature was available in the Classic platform to organize sentiment score data by specific departmental groupings. However, in CXP, this feature was not initially available.
- Departments as Categories in Sentiments: We’ve introduced the departments as categories within existing widgets and filters, so users can now filter sentiment score data by department directly within CXP, without requiring changes to the dashboard layout or design.
New Departments Introduced in CXP:
With this update, we’ve introduced five core departments for sentiment score data grouping:
- Maintenance
- Housekeeping
- Food and Beverage
- Front Office
- Wellness and Spa
These departments will now appear as options in the existing CXP widgets and filters, allowing users to filter sentiment score data accordingly.
How to Use Departments in CXP:
- Access the Filter: Simply use the department filter available in your CXP widgets to select the desired department.
- Review Sentiment Data: Once selected, the sentiment data will be grouped and displayed based on the department of your choice.
- Customization: Continue using your dashboards and widgets as you have before, with the added benefit of department-based filtering for better insights.

Dears
i do believe that sentiment not reflect right key words to right department,
i have sent lots of requests for changing the sentiment while no reply or amend why
all front office and reception issues didn't reflect to the score it goes somewhere else
