Key metrics
Surveys opened
The Surveys Opened metric refers to the number of surveys that have been opened after clicking on the survey link provided through any of the available channels. This is considering surveys that were opened within the selected timeframe in the date filter.
Surveys submitted
The Surveys Submitted metric refers to the number of surveys that have been completed and submitted by customers through any of the available channels. This is considering surveys that were submitted within the selected timeframe in the date filter.
Survey conversion
The Survey Conversion metric represents the ratio between the surveys submitted and the surveys opened. It shows the percentage of surveys submitted by customers from the total number of surveys opened.
Reviews by channel
The Reviews by Channel metric displays the number of submitted reviews categorized by the distribution channel. Channels include Email, QR Code, Public Link, Wi-Fi, and Mobile App. This is considering surveys that were submitted within the selected timeframe in the date filter.
Reviews by device
The Reviews by Device metric shows the number of submitted reviews categorized by the device used for submission. Devices include Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet. A small percentage of reviews may originate from "unknown devices," depending on end-user data availability. This is considering surveys that were submitted within the selected timeframe in the date filter.
Additional metrics
Channel details
Offers the main KPIs by each of the individual channels. Please keep in mind that for all these metrics the funnel starts with the first KPI on the left, which is the one defined by the selected timeframe in the date filter. The rest of KPIs are the different status of the same items.
- The Main Email KPIs include key performance indicators such as emails sent, emails opened, surveys opened, and surveys submitted. Each KPI includes a percentage change compared to the previous step.
- The Email Funnel provides a visual representation of the progression from emails sent to surveys submitted, with percentages calculated from the top of the funnel to subsequent stages.
- The Email Breakdown offers a monthly overview of emails sent, emails opened, surveys opened, and surveys submitted.
QR Code, Public Link, Wi-Fi, and Mobile App
- The Main KPIs for these channels include metrics such as surveys opened and surveys submitted.
- The Funnel Visualization shows the progression from surveys opened to surveys submitted.
- The Breakdown provides a monthly view of surveys opened and surveys submitted.
How to correctly understand data in the Survey statistics dashboard?
The survey statistics dashboard displays two types of data: absolute and relative.
Absolute data
Absolute data is represented in the following widgets:
- Surveys opened
- Surveys submitted
- Survey conversion
- Reviews by channel
- Reviews by device
- Reviews over time
Absolute data reflects events that match the selected filters, regardless of any funnel logic introduced by the distribution channel. For example, if a survey was opened today but sent three months ago, it will still appear in the absolute data widgets if it meets the filter criteria.
Relative data
Relative data is represented in the widgets under the channel selection, such as:
- QR code
- Public link
- Wi-Fi
- Mobile app
Relative data reflects information relative to the start of the selected funnel. The selected timeframe in this case begins with the first event in the funnel, and the data in the widgets relates to those events.
Example: Understanding email channel data
Let’s say you select "This month" as the timeframe:
-
Absolute widgets will display all events that occurred during this month, such as:
- Surveys opened this month
- Surveys submitted this month
These events are shown regardless of when the survey request was sent. For example, if a survey was sent three months ago but opened today, it will still appear in the absolute widgets for this month.
-
Relative widgets will display events starting with the beginning of the funnel for emails sent this month. For email:
- The funnel begins when the email is sent.
- Data in the widgets (e.g., email opened, survey opened, survey submitted) relates only to emails sent during the selected timeframe.
If a survey is opened within the selected timeframe, but the email was sent outside of the timeframe, it will not be included in the relative data widgets. Instead, it will appear in the absolute widgets.
